This policy covers the Fitzroy Doncaster Cricket Club (FDCC) website and the FDCC Stat Bot application. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our players, members, and volunteers.


2. General User Data (Club Members & Fans)

For most users browsing our website or using the Stat Bot to check scores:

  • We do not require a login to view public statistics.
  • If you contact us via the website, we only use your details to respond to your inquiry.


3. Administrative Access (The "Stat Bot" Admin Manager)

Access to the backend Admin Manager and Google Calendar integration is restricted to authorised FDCC Administrators and Volunteers only.

  • Google Calendar Integration: For admins, the App requests access to read and write calendar events. This is used solely to manage volunteer rosters and club schedules.
  • Restricted Access: This data is never shared with the general public or club members. It is strictly for internal club management.


4. Google "Limited Use" Compliance

The FDCC Stat Bot strictly adheres to the Google API Service User Data Policy.

  • Purpose: We only access Google Calendar data to sync club-related rosters.
  • Data Minimisation: We do not request access to, or store, any personal calendar entries that are not related to FDCC activities.
  • No Data Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or provide your Google data to any third-party AI training models or advertising platforms.


5. Your Rights

Any volunteer or admin can disconnect their Google account at any time via their Google Account Security settings. To request a total wipe of your administrative profile from the Stat Bot backend, please email fitzroydoncastercc@gmail.com.
